"Midnight Tune/Secret Pastime"

Who knew Berry Punch had such talent in her inebriated state? Lyra would be jealous.

I wanted to see if I could draw a pony in a sort of spotlight, and that part, at least, turned out all right. The problem with a spotlight is that it needs surrounding darkness... So I got out my heavy pencils and proceeded to mutilate the surrounding background just like I did to my Colgate sketch. It's better than that one turned out, at least.

It was Friday night, so I figured I'd spend a little longer on this. However, I think I need to go back to my normal sketching.
